"Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success."

We don’t have to talk everyday.

strandedonthemainland:

I love those type of friendships that don’t require a lot of effort. We may not see each other as much as we want to or talk as much as we used to, but it doesn’t change the fact that we’re friends no matter what. They can do their own thing and I can do my own thing. What’s important is that whenever we do see each other again, we can pick up right from where we left off without making it awkward. Any friendship that works out like that is a friendship worth having.

Bento for 10/04/2012
TLG liked the practice onigiri I made so much she requested them for her lunch bento today :3 I made these with the more traditional triangular shape (albeit smaller) with one of the silicon cups I got from Saizen.
Mixed teriyaki tuna onigiri
Star-cut Spam slices
Steamed green beans, peas, carrots, corn
Diced Spam
Tonkatsu sauce
Corn & cheese rice crackers
Chocolate-filled mini cookies
Pinagkaguluhan daw ng friends nya because they’re so cute ^_^
My first attempt at making onigiri :)
I found that mixed onigiri is easier to handle than filled, so these are teriyaki tuna onigiri sprinkled with nori/sesame seed furikake (bear) and topped with ketchup (round).
The stainless steel mold makes it easier to shape the onigiri; I’ll be going back to Japan Home this weekend to look for similar molds in different shapes :)
